New Work in Progress

Since it was such a gorgeous clear and sunny day today, I went out scouting for new print ideas. I took my camera and intended to go visit the Center for Wooden Boats, but unfortunately, they were closed for the holidays, and not set to reopen until January 4. Bummer! It would have been a great day to get some shots there, as the sun was out, and there was virtually no wind, so the water had a glass like reflection to it. I'll have to be on the lookout for future days like today (I know what you're thinking - in Seattle that may be next August!)

So, since the CWB was out, I proceeded to go to Kerry Park at the top of Queen Anne Hill. The city looked fantastic! Of course you know the scene from here, the classic picture of Seattle with the Space Needle front and center. Well I took several from here, so there should be plenty to work with.

From here I headed over to Alki, for another classic pose of Seattle. I think I'll do something different with this one and maybe do a composite image with the ferry boat from Ferry/Olympics. We'll see.
